What can you do to avoid the craziness of coaching -

Most coaches I know are feeling pretty overwhelmed with all of the tasks they have to do.

The company isn't sure the person they want to be their ideal customer.

They have too many offers.

They are too busy to attempt to create attention and lead.

It's not easy for them to figure out how to enroll people into their program.

They have too many programs that they need to bond with zaps and rubber bands.

They work too hard for their clients and end up burning out, even though they enjoy their coach.

Do any of these resonate with you?

 Three types of overstress that I regularly see coaches suffer from:

Strategy overwhelm

Clients overwhelmed

Systems overwhelm

Let's take a look each one at a.

Strategy overwhelm

When it comes to strategy, most coaches have several offers. They're doing too many things in an effort to get the attention of leads and gain their interest, and they often don't know on what type of client to target.

There's also a lack of clarity about how they'd like to sell to draw people into their programs.

In the beginning, you're going to be experimenting. That's okay.

However, you're really hoping to be able to hit your Five Ones.

The Five Ones say that if you are focused only on...

One avatar

One traffic source

One deal

One enrollment mechanism

One year

You can hit a million dollars of revenue.

If you're not at the million dollars, don't even think of creating a second avatar, another traffic source, another promotion, or an additional registration mechanism.

Coaches that aren't earning the amount they'd like think they need to add more offers, more products, more avatars, more traffic sources ... every step to expand their reach to attract more customers.

The exact opposite of the case.

The goal is to narrow it down. Make sure you are particular. Choose.

It's about taking the correct decision.

It's about making a decision to make it the right one, and getting it done.

It is possible to make any one of them work.

Select one you like, and then stick with it, till you hit the million dollars.

I know how hard this could be.

But with the right mentoring and support, you will be able to make them work.

If somebody else has been successful in this way, then you can do it too.

After that, it's simply finding the right details.

Client Overwhelm

While we coaches love working with our clients and enjoy coaching however, there are times when it gets too much.

When you're doing many 1:1 sessions with clients, it's easy to become exhausted.

It is common to say the same thing time and time again.

It's that feeling you get when there's incredible energy flowing out of you in the course of a session with a client, but you I don't even exactly where it came from. It's incredible!

You're disappointed that no one else will have the opportunity to listen to your dazzling story, because you're saying that in a personal 1-on-1 conversation!

Some coaches not only do 1:1 work, but they're as well doing work on behalf of those they coach. It's a done-for-you model.

And yes, you can boost your prices so that you are paid more for your coaching and can possibly take on fewer clients.

But it's fundamentally not easily scalable.

What is scalable is doing group coaching.

Develop a program for groups where you can collaborate with your customers simultaneously.

The template, the framework and live group coaching and even a community.

Not only do they get you and they also receive the other.

This means that, as the number of clients increases, so too does the worth of your program.

If you're currently not offering group coaching or if a group-coaching program isn't the primary focus of your company, it should be your top priority and should be the "One Offer" in the Five Ones.

Systems overwhelm

It's pretty common these days to have at least five or seven, eight or more softwares to run your coaching business.

Website host similar to Wordpress or Wix

Marketing software for email or an ESP (Email Service Provider) like MailChimp or ConvertKit

Carts for shopping similar to Shopify or Samcart

Course platform or LMS such as Teachable or Kajabi

Video host such as Vimeo or Wistia

Funnel software or a page creator like ClickFunnels or LeadPages

Software for community similar to Circle or MightyNetworks

Scheduler like Calendly or SavvyCal

Survey instrument similar to TypeForm or SurveyMonkey

Affiliate tracking tool like Tapfiliate or Post Affiliate Pro

Pipeline for Sales similar to Pipedrive or Close.com

CRM like Hubspot or Ontraport

   Zapier to join them all!  

There's a bit of overlap in the list because some of these tools do multiple things.

There are other terms that are often used and I didn't list.

It gets pretty long pretty quick.

This doesn't just add the cost of a cost per month.

Additionally, it adds lots of extra work and the mental energy of your.

There's first the issue of fatigue from deciding on all of these tools.

For each category listed there are many alternatives, and they each have their strengths and weaknesses Some span multiple categories.

You have to evaluate them all, then decide on the best one to use Then figure out what they'll do when integrated with the other stacks you have.

It's then time for the process of integration.

Do they speak directly to each other? Or must you use Zapier in order to "zap" them together?

This is another headache, and the connections are brittle.

They'll fail, especially in the time of vacation and it's up to you (or your team if you already have one and they can figure it out), to fix it.

And then there's the mental bandwidth of needing to switch between softwares, each of which is doing things a little differently.

It causes lots of context switching in which you must change your the way you work every couple of minutes.

If you're uploading your logo in more than four places then it's time to find a more effective alternative.

With NO zaps.

No glue.

There are no rubber bands.

Everything you need to run your business from the same place.

As if you were able to find your house on the border.

Then all of the parts communicate easily with each other.

Your clients only have to input their data only once and then you will already have their information in your database.

It is possible to connect the opt-in form and have them schedule a strategy session with you.

Easy. Clean. Simple.
