the wonder jam

Wonder Jam Wonder Jam is "a brand family of brands that helps small, creative businesses to grow" Words have been immortalized by Daft Punk"harder and faster, as well as better-performing and stronger. The brand's name, Wonderly, builds websites as well as Visual branding tools, as well as Membership software to help its customers "set their own distinctive". I spoke to Wonderly's Director of Operations Allie Lehman and developer Matt Hart to find out more.

Fine art and creative work can be freelanced to the maximum extent

"My roots are in the fine arts. I grew up performing lots of painting and drawing using oil," says Allie Lehman. "At high school, I had an amazing art teacher that, in a hilarious way , told me I could be an illustrator or graphic designer. I had no clue the meaning of those words! I decided to study graphic design and went to at a university to study this field."

Allie left during the recession in 2009, when she was appointed web hosting support. "It was a bit stressful, but I did learn a lot concerning hosting servers. I also learned about the procedure of the process of how WordPress was created as well as every aspect of the appearance of a site," she remembers. "In 2013, we launched The Wonder Jam, now The Wonder Jam is the business we manage. I decided to quit my job as a designer, and started doing full-time work as the manager of the business."

She worked with Matt Hart for a couple months prior to the date of this. Matt Hart would create websites and she'd design the websites. After that, they started working together much more often: "We've been working together for the last 10 years since they started as freelancers. This was a natural partnership. The focus now is on organizations that concentrate on services that help create WordPress sites." Allie adds.

Matt begins: "I do primarily WordPress development. The method was introduced to myself in the early 2010s. There were many users browsing the WordPress internet and thought"We must include CSS in order to ensure your site comply with the right color scheme'. It was very dull very quick!" he smiles. The introduction of web page builders, like Beaver Builder and Elementor came into play and they could achieve some flexibility: "We could do things with a custom approach specific to the demands of our customers. And we managed to impress with our creative thinking."

Since their collaboration, Allie and Matt have been focusing on "going customized in a way which is affordable" as Matt states: "We do only what our customers would like, and we aren't doing anything that our customers don't want to. Our customers care about. They would rather not feel like they are a mystery. They wish to feel confident. Through these tools, let's accomplish this."

Allie writes: "In 2013, I began The Wonder Jam with my husband after I had started working as a freelancer on my own. We were fortunate to have Matt who was our contractor for developers. We were driven to create. We wanted to make our own style, and we wanted to be free." That's how Wonder Jam was born.

Systems, soils and supports

"We are originally in Columbus, Ohio and it's an extremely welcoming and open area to businesses of any size," she continues. "Matt was in the process of transferring to Seattle and that's when we began working with our local customers. we'd walk through the main streets, and take a look at the firms we've worked with." It was the year 2020. After seven years of The Wonder Jam in addition to the time after The Wonder Jam started expanding throughout the United States The company was its parent and also had three other brands. companies.

Wonderly is focused on businesses who provide services, such as chefs, non-profits, writers and fitness trainers. They also have a brand named Basis which is focused on the retail sector as well as those that sell goods. They also have an extra brand called Studio Wonder, an events location and photography studio in Columbus.

The three brands provide a lot of creative flexibility "It allows our team to be determined about what they would like to achieve and also the ability to create their own procedures," Allie says. "Because Matt and I started working together from the start around 2000, we've accumulated over a decade of processes in our repertoire. We have photos from 2017 that show how we use whiteboards to record every stage of our work to ensure that clients get the best possible guidance.

"The Wonder Jam operates as the "soil" that provides all the services the business that is of any size will require in the background. Each one of its sister brands is able to "sprout" using their distinctive manner, and then do the work in accordance with whatever options that may arise. This allows for all possibilities to be clear and without any hiccups caused by things which can hinder the ability to be sole proprietors or as a one-person business," Matt continues. "We run a collection of companies that work in tandem."

Basis is a brand that focuses on Shopify as well as eCommerce. However, sometimes there's one customer that wants to get started writing and would like to develop something more than what Shopify offers. So, Wonderly can come in to give assistance for customers of the base on steps that relate to WordPress. "We can support and collaborate on a regular basis as an all-inclusive team. But everyone is able to focus in a single area that's satisfying for the individual," he smiles.

"The Wonder Jam sits as an unifying platform. There is no one responsible in providing us advice about who to work with, or the amount of income we'll earn it's entirely up to the individual who is managing the project," continues Allie. The two share equipment like software, a method to manage projects, and the services of a concierge for clients. The management partners are able to protect the project. The team members can join the project and manage all back-end administrative tasks, such as contracting and invoicing.

"It can help people like Matt and me to stay focussed on their work." Allie smiles. "I think we've created the ideal work atmosphere. We want to ensure that our clients enjoy excellent experiences. We'd like them to get in touch with us by email and know you're receiving prompt responses and feel comfortable throughout each step."

Matt states: "We say we don't design designs exclusively for the sake of. We design designs together with you. It's not like we're going away for an extended period of time to design something specific to your needs. We get together often and people can observe how we create from start to finish. This is far better than going to the crafting space for a few hours to design things ourselves!"

Contexts and Clients

Matt and Allie Have had the privilege of working with a variety of businesses that need their sites to be accessible in a range of ways. "Some of our clients are nonprofit organizations. They are extremely robust websites. They are mostly complex or have existed for a long time. Therefore, we tend to consolidate or condensing them so they could be more simple," Matt explains.

"We're engaged with individuals searching for websites that offer memberships like ones in the food industry," Allie continues. Wonderly's clients tend to be people who do human-service-oriented work: "They're fighting for equality, they're looking to talk to their audience a little differently. The people we work with have put in a lot of their own passion, their time, and money in their business," she adds.

It's crucial to know that the Wonder Jam brands are able to collaborate with any type of organization whether it's large-scale charities to individuals who want to be full-time workers while maintaining an additional company. "We've developed structures to accommodate the specific needs of each. We're trying to figure out what scale works optimally and how best to approach differently in cases where the scale of scales is drastically different. This is an exciting thing to study!" Matt smiles.

The writer states "With charity, they generally have an established structure and were successful in figuring out the legal hurdles they were required to pass through. It is the way we can achieve our goals since we do not have start from scratch." An organization could rethink this issue and come up with an opportunity for people to help make the process easier.

In our first meeting, and with every client , no matter the kind of company or the size of the website The Wonder Jam team talks about how to provide the best customer assistance. "A site can be a device that is very effective at increasing sales. However, it could be extremely effective at attracting customers back, or even as an asset. One of the most frequent questions that we receive comes from "Is it an asset or capable to create VIPs? These are the people who are thought as the primary clients for small-scale companies," Allie explains.

Matt and Allie each agree that websites should not be expected to serve everyone, which is why it's essential to plan ahead. "Whenever we're building an online membership site The first thing we should be thinking about is that we would like our customers who join us to keep coming back and feeling sure that they've received the most value they've had." Matt adds.

The case is being investigated by researchers: Simi and Molly

Allie tells us: "One of our clients, Simi Botic, has an exercise group and participates in Unmeasured which is about moving your body. It's called"the Barre Method. It's so compassionate. View of "Just Begin Moving" without looking for methods for you to "punish" yourself or your body. There are a variety of choices that are based on your flexibility body."

When Simi first signed up to Wonderly there was only the smallest amount of videos uploaded to the site. The site was able to be updated weekly. "It helps to keep things organized, and also helps her manage her work schedules" Allie confirms. "After around two to three years in operation We have seen our list of members grow and provides her with the opportunity to provide the people she works with more worth which is a wonderful aspect. We're thrilled to be capable of adapting our strategies when the needs of clients change; it's an issue of revising our designs and making small changes before making them a reality when we're creating."

Another user, Molly Baz, wanted to switch from her existing website to one which can be distinctive and more stimulating. "Her brand's identity and visual is distinctive and unique to her. The brand wanted people visiting her website to be able to experience the joy of being there by engaging in this manner. They were sent recipes, information, as well as all kinds of information that they're accustomed to, but with an authentic style and authentic to her personality," Allie explains.

Molly's network has become extremely significant for her networks have become extremely important to. "To have the ability to organize the website in a manner that matches the design of her other sites. This has changed the appearance of the website to "Oh sure, this is an image taken from Molly Buy the cookbook', to be that is more important both inside and outside of the membership. There are many benefits to this," Allie muses.

"Something we've been trying to teach our clients to consider the things they'll be able to see as being the same as their own lives even when we're not speaking with clients for hours at a time. We're trying to ensure that they're equipped with the proper procedures and systems put in place that allow their usage of the tools that we've created to assist their customers. Molly's experience is a great example of this." Matt agrees.

More information, as well as the plans for the future

A majority of their clients have enjoyed having their clients as their customers "It's incredible to work with people who truly are excellent. Our clients are very sensitive and always have their sense of belonging," Allie concludes. "We have the privilege of working with fascinating people whose beliefs inspire their actions.
