To increase the exposure and recognize filmmakers who are developing their skills, Dolby Vision has collaborated with Ghetto Film School and Dolby Vision in the creation of innovative short-films. For this season's Finalize Challenge, also called The Script Challenge, four teams were challenged to use the opening sequence from Oscar-nominated , 15-time chosen filmmaker Carlos Lopez Estrada as a base for their own film.
The film was written by teams that received funding totalling $25,000. They were able to complete their work by making use of the capability to color grade with Dolby Vision(r) in addition to mixing music using Dolby Atmos(r). Dolby is preparing to launch the new version of its"Finish the script" contest in the next couple of months. Be on the lookout for additional details.
