The family is a creative one for artist and illustrator Kentaro Yoshida. His mother, too an artist, had an influential influence on his work , even when she wasn't satisfied with his choices concerning his work. "First she wasn't the biggest fan of my being a full-time artist. I believe she understood the challenges arising from her own experiences. But I gave an attempt and was able to make it through," Kentaro says. "She has been the main source of inspiration for me."

Kentaro was born in a rural fishing town located in Toyama, Japan, but was moved to Australia after he turned aged 18 and that is where he currently lives in Sydney. From there, he's developed an impressive freelance part-time job as artist. Prints are sold, as well as customized painting boards, murals, as well as collaboration with top brands and musicians.
