Although many children have their first entrepreneurial ventures through selling snacks to friends, Morgan Hipworth took his early interest in food to the next step. The young founder behind popular Australian bakery, Bistro Morgan has developed an interest in food through cooking shows at about 7 years of age.

"I watched other young people in the news working toward their dreams and was thinking to myself: 'If they're able to do it, then I can also do it,'" Morgan says. He put that conviction into action "Each weekend, I would cook three courses for my parents and my extended family offering my culinary creations at the table of my family," he says. "I expanded my clients to extended families, serving freshly baked desserts at birthdays and other occasions." At age 13, he was encouraged to take samples to an eatery in the area. He was also responsible for its supplies of baked goods and sweets.

Make customers part of the brand's story

"Being in a position to be able to share an engaging story that really brings customers along has been a fundamental aspect of building a client collection," he says. "Connection is the number one goal, and what turns a one-off client into a loyal one that will stay with you throughout the years."
