At the start of the month of January in 2020, Nia Pettitt established her Curl Bar that is a salon specifically for curls. It is located in London. The idea behind Nia's salon didn't just revolve around making clients feel attractive and appealing and attractive, but also providing the space for each customer to feel valued and welcomed.

The establishment of salons for those with curly locks was always a ambition for Nia's. "I often traveled to America for my hair's treatment because it was hard to locate salons in London or even in London or the UK," she says. "I determined to make something that was safe and comfortable, and was a visual representation of the thoughts I imagined in my head as a kid." The customers responded positively to the idea. As soon as they first opened the doors at The Curl Bar the bar, reservations quickly were filled to capacity.

"Your life is going to change after making the plunge and start your own enterprise. Be sure that you're ready for the challenges." Nia advises aspiring business entrepreneurs. It was hard to discern the kind of changes expected for Nia and Curl Bar. Curl Bar. Just two months after the opening of the restaurant, it was ordered to close temporarily because of COVID-19 shut downs in the UK. The slight interruption to operations did not hinder Nia's performance.

"I had no formula for expanding the business or in the event in the event of an outbreak" she says. "I just see every day as an opportunity for me to learn from and learned from." When The Curl Bar was closed, Nia shifted her focus onlineand connected to stylists and her clients on social platforms until The Curl Bar could be fully open.
