The footer section of the website is the area that is located at the bottom of the page. It includes important information for users. It is typically uniform across all pages of a website, providing the stability needed to appear near the bottom of the scroll. You should think of them as a key supporting actor to your site Although you may not realize that they're the focus of your website, but, you cannot operate your site without the footer. They contain almost everything that people might want to know including contact information, as well as hyperlinks to the most important webpages.
It is possible that people don't scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to engage with the footer, but studies show otherwise. Chartbeat and Nielsen Norman Group show that those who scroll lower stay longer at the end of a page, than people who scroll to the highest.
That's why footers don't count as footnotes. But, how do you get the most value from the ones you have? This is what you should be conscious of.
