Website domains are the specific URL that you type into your web browser for access to a specific internet page. A URL for a web page has few parts:

Protocol or scheme

Subdomain

Domain name, also known as second-level domain

Top-level domain (TLD)

Subdirectory path or Page path

A majority of users will have to look at their domain name, TLD, and page paths. The domain name is the distinctive identifier of your site ("" for .com) and the TLD is your domain's extension (like .com, .net, or .org) while the page path represents a page on your website (like "/blog" on .com/blog).
