1. Find ways to be creative and improve attendance

One of the biggest challenges that marketers must overcome is to get people interested in participating in an online event. Preethi loves to see whom else will be in the crowd too. Sean Doyle has had success using cut-downs of recordings that are cliffhangers in order to hold the attention of viewers and to create excitement.

2. This is not an event

"We must not focus exclusively on the live portion of an event. There are many interactions that take place prior to and following the event that you should think over," Preethi says. Use every event as an opportunity create a mini-marketing plan. This could start with the initial registration email, before moving on to the follow-up email.

3. Go deep on your speaker prep

"You should do your own investigation prior to making a decision. You shouldn't rely only on the appearance of a person," Sean says. "Find videos of them talking online if they're in a position to talk or locate a friend who has been with them, or even seen them at a gathering and is able to give an honest assessment."

Be specific when describing what you're going to need to accomplish depending on the amount of time and effort that's going to be needed. Beware of those who seem to be evasive, Preethi adds. "I don't exactly how many times I've heard someone say they don't require IT to operate. I've gone to lots of webinars prior to. I've managed to do this. Be sure to complete all exercises without interruption. If you can, do two. This is a reality I cannot stress enough."

4. There's absolutely no way to become an excessively-connected person.

One of the most difficult tasks with regards to coordinating the activities you're planning is keeping all employees in the organization informed, regardless of whether they look as if they're especially attracted.

"Three months prior to the event, there is no interest in the event," Preethi explains. "Two months prior to the event, there is no one who appears to be interested in the events. In the three days leading up to the event, everybody will be engaged and interested. It's essential to make sure that everyone is current. Although it may sound like a chore, this isn't. Every 2 weeks you need to make sure to notify everybody via email of the occasion. Make sure to contact every senior executive in the firm."

5. Get a group of people together in the dry trail

"I am trying to convince employees within the business to be a part of the exercise by acting as fake spectators," Preethi says. "That's an always a significant perk for me as it allows us to get feedback on the way that this event is experienced from a perspective of lighting, sound and entire thing."

6. Consider the possibilities Explore the boundaries

"People continue to have a interest in attending these events, despite the reality that they weren't widely known at the time of the lockdown," Sean explains. "So marketers, how do you they design the events in a manner that makes them more tasty and more enjoyable, in addition to being more easily shared?"

Katie agrees. "We should continue to explore. There's an endless possibility unknown, and I'm pushing the limits of what an experience in virtual reality could be. Everybody has the exact equipment and the exact software that is employed by all. The winner will be whoever's the most imaginative with it. The most important thing is the experience that an audience has."
