Have you have a look at the most recent news coming from Articulate over the past few days?

They've made major enhancements in their products with the introduction of the new Articulate 360. The entire strategy of their business has been revamped on the same basis.

If you're an avid user of Articulate (or perhaps you were a customer of their program) You might be wondering what this all means.

First, let me clarify this: Storyline still looks to as their primary product under the brand under the name "Storyline 360". It looks to be updated with some new capabilities too.

They continue to offer Studio (now brand-new under the brand new title "Studio 360").

The company also has introduced a brand new feature to the line of products, named Rise. This new tool for authoring has been designed with a focus on ease of use and the ability to be adapted for mobile devices and making use of a minimal approach.

Additionally, Replay 360 (a video editor and creator tool) as well as Peek (a screencasting application) along with Preso (an iPad app for creating informal classes from slideshows created in PDF).

I think I've read that there's an upcoming Articulate Live offering and webinar series specifically for Articulate 360 customers . The webinars will present the most recent e-learning methods and trends that use Articulate solutions.

The Content Library with over 100,000 digital resources that could be used for courses.

Wow... there's lot going on.

What does this mean for you?

Like Articulate they provide a wide range of tools that could be utilized to complete various activities related to e-learning as well as tasks-related learning. One of the main differences is the fact that they do not offer different pricing options.

Articulate 360 is subscription based.

If you'd like to keep using Articulate 360, you must pay the annual fee of $999. Articulate 360 line of products is a requirement to pay $999. Of course this is for Adobe's subscription-based pricing system.

Also, it signifies that you're now equipped different tools to use.

"Do Everything" Methodology "Do Everything" Method

It's a good time for Articulate. The previous offerings caused confusion and were often not organized. The program's goal is creating that shift and transform Articulate the "one stop store" for all aspects related to e-learning.

Each element must be in perfect order to allow the whole offer to demonstrate value. If one element is not operating, or alternative options can't be achieved easily due to the restricted ecosystem, it's going be a long and difficult trip.

It's not yet able to determine if the new approach of Articulate is worth the cost but I can confirm that the past demonstrated that the company has made some commercially smart choices in the market for electronic learning.

The future is going to be unveiled.
