Yvette is currently working full-time in the creation of the graphic novel she is writing. The process will take about 1.5 years. To start in 2021, Yvette returned to school once again. As she works on her first graphic novel, she also has time to learn more about background art and the design of characters. With the help of her fans She can concentrate on the creation of the graphic novel and making fan-film poster designs as well as her original art.

What would you say about your style?

"I would consider my style as a blend that combines Western as well as Asian influences, with vintage and antique ambiance in it."

What are the key ingredients to making the most captivating illustrations?

"The foremost thing is to present the characters before the readers while executing well-thought-out design and composition.

Most important is discipline, and the ability to work with the story every single day until it's finished."

"My name is Yvette, I'm an illustrator who hails from Singapore.

I am a lover of stories, and I am intrigued by kinds of art media as well as watching music and films, both of which you'll find is a source of inspiration when I work."
