Features: Content Scheduler How to Drip Content into Members

Today, most individuals suffer with "too too much information" "... not a "lack of knowledge". When you're creating a membership site or online courses, it's crucial to consider the way that members may feel overwhelmed.

Dripping content is one solution.

This is essentially a means to release content piece-by-piece instead of all at-once. So, when a new student joins your online course , instead of dropping all 70 lessons on them at once it is possible to "drip" through your class modules by module.

It keeps them from getting overwhelmed.

And, keeps them engaged because they have a reason to come back to your site each day/week/month (whatever the timeframe you have choose to establish).

So, how do you go about it using Member?

To get started start, simply click the Content Control menu in Member:

It is first necessary to verify that you have enabled the content Scheduler feature is on Click on the "Settings" button:

Then click the enable toggle on"Enable Content Scheduling "Enable Scheduler for Content Scheduler" choice:

If you're on this page You can modify the settings for Content Scheduler using on the "Settings" link:

In the following text, which describes, you can change the Page, Message or URL members are shown if they attempt to access content that is scheduled but they don't yet possess access to the following:

There are a variety of ways that this can be a possibility, but you're able to set what they'll see by editing the options below. We've included a basic message as a default.

Next, select the "post type" that you'd like editing. It's usually your posts or pages however if you (or a plugin you're using) have created a custom post type for the content you're dripping however, you are able to select that post type here:

Next, select the post you'd like to edit the scheduling settings for:

Select "Set Content Scheduling (Drip)" from the dropdown menu:

When the dialog box opens, choose the level of membership level(s) that you'd like to apply the schedule to. It is possible to select any or all levels:

Then, you can choose the amount of time following the time that the new member is registered you'd like the content to start showing. For this instance, we want the post to be displayed immediately to new members. Therefore, we choose zero days.

Then, you choose the amount of days you'd like your post to "show for". In this case, we want it to always be on display, so we'll just keep it as blank as possible:

Then, click the "Set the Content Schedule" button.

You'll now see the schedules for each blog in the post listing:

Edit or remove a schedule by clicking the icons which will pop up when you hover over the post:

And, that's it. The content you have uploaded is scheduled! It's true that this is only a sample. Let's closer look at an even more sophisticated setup:

With this setup this post will display to the subscriber seven days following the time they sign up to the selected membership level and continue to display for 14 days prior to "disappearing" for the second time.

As you can see, there's a myriad of uses to use this. Dripping out a course or managing an onboarding process as well as displaying content with a time limit, as well as a lot more.

As part of our ongoing dedication to innovating and leading the industry in bringing you the necessary tools to more easily and effectively run your business online.

Enjoy!

"We've tried a couple of other membership tools that included in packages we'd purchased. But nothing can compare to Membership. I know that there's plenty of amazing products that folks have built over the years. But when it comes to customizing, if you make use of WordPress it's impossible to do this. Of course, I'm biased, but we've made thousands of dollars through this program."

The new Member packs a punch! and the cost for Member offers a wonderful bargain.

They're also eager to connect with the new the new tools coming out. It's incredible how they accomplish it actually. If I were to purchase an membership-related plugin now... for me, I would go with Member.
