Bioism: the new way to create living things CreativeMindClass Blog The CreativeMindClass Blog

Mar 16, 2022

"I came from the Soviet Union in what is now Ukraine. I was a huge fan of drawing an infant I was awarded many prizes. After high school, I moved on to study economics. It was a struggle to be satisfied with the possibility of having a career that was full-time the workstation of a boring filthy and dusty workplace. Thus, I chose to tackle the art field with a serious attitude that eventually led me to the course that was taught by Konrad Klapheck at the Art Academy of Dusseldorf. After that, I was able to learn from Shirin Neshat from Salzburg."

"Making my artwork is an essential part of creating impossible, imagined universes.

Alien-like aesthetics, unearthly shapes and images These are the things I love to think about and envision. Naturally, during my early years, like everyone else I was drawn by all things that surrounded me before I began feeling unsatisfied with my perception of visual data.

The desire to create all deviations imaginable and artefacts that have no provenance, it led me to create entirely distinct universes."

What's your style of art?

"Bioism. Biofuturism. Paradise Engineering. Bioethical Abolitionism. My everyday thought and declaration is:

Bioism or biofuturism represents my attempt to create bio-inspired living organisms and fresh design aesthetics for the future of living things. Bioism allows you to create art-related objects that express visual possibilities of synthetic biological processes. Bioism is an approach to make art using energy, complexity, and multiplicity. I regard each of my artworks as living objects. Bioism gives life to dead objects.
Personally, I believe that over the next decade, in the wake of an evolutionary revolution, we'll use living furniture, live in live-in homes along with traveling through space with live-streamed stations. The most fascinating aspect is the ability of artists to utilize living objects, inventing new forms of life. Artistic expression will gain the practical sensation of birth. The fantastical could be the reactions of art work to its creator and the environment. Future art museums could change into zoological garden galleries and could also be used as the new funds for biodiversity, as well as galleries could transform into biology laboratory.
Bioism is an attempt in the creation of new and infinite types of life across the entire universe. Paradise engineering is described as the ultimate expression of bioethics using new techniques ...

This manifesto, as I'm of the opinion, won't ever be complete, because it is a biochemical process that's currently in the process of developing it."

What is the key for creating your own designs?

"I strive to steer clear of all primitive geometric structures: no straight lines, even the absence of lines when it's feasible. I am chasing after the collision of micro and macro on an everyday basis.

Anything unknown or overly complicated will immediately be recognized by our inner eye as organic or living. Biology is the most deep and complex information structure of the world."

The church is a formal place. Are you finding it hard working in the church?

"It depends on your inner convictions, beliefs, and fears or the degree to which you're unsure in your understanding of your place within the world of mankind. Myself, I'm nearly no expert on the universe, time, and all their astonishing wonders. When I go to church, it's almost like a little child that is exploring the huge and mysterious playground with has an element of communication.

I do my best to show respect toward its art, but I never forget its entertainment side that is communicating with god. It's similar to an XXL telephone booth. If you are talking, or trying to get your message across, you might even laugh."

What is your level of charge of the creation process and what proportion of the process is all bioism?

"Controlling chaos can be an extremely challenging undertaking. My inner ear and eyes will be listening to undiscovered music, and to discover a new shape which speaks to me and feeds my imagination. my. However, it's not a only one-way process in which you act like a mining machine that is taking gems of fascinations and dumping a lot of trash of not interesting possibilities in your face. It's not my style.

I often combine my fascinations with the other possibilities an effort to produce not only a pleasant music, but also unexpected surprises. The best part of this task is the possibility of creating an entirely new universe that you have already been thinking about how it should appear. Sometimes, you dream or even in the night while you are asleep. However, the fact is that the more I create my personal world, the more joys I have, and chaos becomes my friend as I grow in bioism."

Are you enjoying making or do you manage to gain something more out of it, like mediation or reaching out to your vulnerability?

"Drawing time allows for reflection. Additionally, I draw as I explore myself, and consider the extent to which I can be amazed by myself, as well as how far the universe is able to surprise me - which is the case for all possibilities on this very unique route. Sometimes it gets funny, and when I'm feeling more exhilarated, I go to the world outside and perform an action."

Why did you choose bioism? What were you trying prior to you decided to go on?

"The first steps were rather normal: I remember how happy I was about my half-drawing-half-painting of the tractor in the field for which I was praised in kindergarten.

In the following years, I was infatuated by landscapes that I was able to sit in the grass for prolonged durations of time and try to create natural motions on the paper. Then, in the end I began to draw portraits. However, I was so dissatisfied, so bored with the normality of human face that were reproduced (including photos and videos) and I decided to stop. In that moment, the egg's shell split and I emerged like an Octopus (or Godzilla). That means that I became more enthralled by the mysteries of existence. How do I explain that? This is not to discuss what's in the present one but it's to create an entirely new version. That was the birth day of bioethics as well as my bioism."

"But it was not an enjoyable story. It was cold out in the streets, and lonely people were happy to get any kind of human contact, and to hear the Christmas tale of the newborn bioism and to play with the tiny blue baby of it.

The unexplained poverty that is evident on the beaches of Hollywood can trigger a completely different perspective and I'm forced to consider the moral implications of bioism's interactions with the hypothetical Diogenes of Venice."
