Bioism: the new art of living forms - The CreativeMindClass Blog
"I am a native of that region of Soviet Union in what is currently Ukraine. I was a huge fan of drawing as when I was a kid and received several awards. In high school, I decided to pursue a degree in economics. However, I wasn't satisfied by the prospect of working full-time in the office desk in a monotonous messy office. Thus, I decided to pursue art with a seriousness and ended up joining the course that was taught by Konrad Klapheck at the Art Academy of Dusseldorf. Then, I went into the class of Shirin Neshat in Salzburg."

"Making the art I create is an essential process of creating impossible imaginary realms.
Visuals that resemble aliens, mysterious forms and emotions - that's the kind of thing I like to imagine and visualize. Naturally, when I was in my younger times, like everyone else, I started with my surroundings, however I was soon dissatisfied over the way I was interpreting the most well-known facts about visuals.
The attempt to create the most diverse possible universe and even artefacts that have no sources inspired me to write entirely new universes."

What is your style of painting?
"Bioism. Biofuturism. Paradise Engineering. Bioethical Abolitionism. My day-to-day reflection and quotation is:
Biofuturism also known as Bioism is an attempt to design living creatures and new aesthetics of future living things. Bioism is an approach to create art pieces that express visual possibilities of artificial life. Bioism attempts to make art through the power of variety, energy and. Each work as an actual living thing. Bioism brings life to lifeless subjects.
Personally, I think that in the near future, in the wake of the bio revolution and the rise of living furniture, we'll have living furniture, live in homes that are living and move in space using living stations. The most intriguing thing will be the ability for artists to create living things, creating different forms of living. Artistic expression will gain the feeling of birth. The wonderful could refer to the reactions of an artwork to its creator as well as the environment. Art museum of the future may be transformed into galleries of zoology that could become new biodiversity funds and even ateliers that turn and bio-labs.
Bioism is a movement to promote diverse and inexhaustible types of life across the entire universe. Paradise engineering is the ultimate expression of bioethics using new techniques ...
This manifesto, I believe that it will never be completed, because I'm a biochemical process that is still in the process of developing."

What's the secret in making your installation?
"I attempt to steer away from any primitive geometric structures such as straight lines or even the absence of lines as long as it is feasible. I'm chasing the collision between macro and micro on an everyday basis.
Everything that is unfamiliar or complicated immediately catches the eyes of humans as living or organic. Biology is among the deepest and most intricate information structure in the universe."

Church is a formal place. Are you finding it challenging working in this kind of space?
"It is founded on your personal expectations as well as hidden obligations, or even how unsure of your knowledge of where you fit in the world of humans. In my case, I have almost zero knowledge of time, space , or its amazing wonders. An so when inside an institution, I feel like a curious child in a large and strange play area with some kind of communication ability.
It's my aim to show respect towards its artistry However, I also don't forget about its entertaining aspect, especially talking to the Deity. Similar to an XXL telephone booth. When you're talking, or trying to hear you is funny as well."

How much are you in control of the processes of creation? What percentage of the creation process involves biomimetic?
"Controlling chaos is an extremely difficult task. My eyes and ears are constantly listening for an unknown melody in search of a new form, that speaks to me and activates my imagination nerve. However, it's not a an all-or-nothing process where it's like being a miner machine that is taking luck-filled gems of fascinations and dumping lots of garbage of uninteresting choices in your rear. Personally, I don't think it's the best idea.
My passions often blend and other potentialities in a tune that is not so pleasant, and sometimes, unexpected discoveries can be a surprise. The best part of what I do is make a whole new world, when you know what it should look like. There are times when you are dreaming, but sometimes this occurs at night when you are you are asleep. However, the more I create and create, the greater joys I am able to experience. Chaos can be my companion to the development of bioism."

Are you a creative person that enjoys what you do? Are you able to benefit more from it, like practicing meditation or expressing your most fragile side?
"Drawing time allows for contemplation. In addition, I sketch by examining myself and the possibility that I will be surprised by myself and the ways in which the universe might amaze me. This takes into consideration all possibilities in this odd path. Sometimes, the humor is quite funny, and at times if I'm feeling more exhilarated, I venture out into the world and create an appearance."

Why did you decide to become a bioist? What did you experiment with prior to it?
"The first steps were rather normal: I remember how happy I was about my half-drawing-half-painting of the tractor in the field for which I was praised in kindergarten.
After that, I was enthralled by drawing of landscapes, where I could lie in the grass for lengthy durations of time and try to sketch the natural movements on the board. Then I started making numerous portraits. Then, I got extremely unhappy, becoming unhappy with any human being which was reproduced (including photos and videos) and that's why I ended my work. The egg's shell broke , and I emerged as the phoenix (or Godzilla). This means I was brought nearer to the truth of existence. What exactly does it mean? It's not to define the current one and to design the next one. That was the day that I began the process of creating bioethics, my bioism and bioethics."

When I browsed through your Instagram I thought that bioism may take an interest in the topic of homelessness, and the issue of homelessness within LA...
"But it was not an excellent story: it was cold out on the streets and residents were delighted to have every touch of a human, to hear the story of Christmas told by the bioism's new born, and play with the little blue child of it.
The gloomy poverty apparent on the shores of Hollywood might prompt me to choose an entirely different path within my head. I need to consider the philosophical aspects of bioism interacting with a hypothetical Diogenes of Venice."
