Art collages are available on the CreativeMindClass Blog
The other day, I discovered Olga sharing Instagram posts about my neighborhood from childhood. Within Warsaw's concrete jungle, there is an undiscovered, sacred green area. I used to go there in summer time to gaze at the beautiful pine trees and take a breath of fresh air in my urban airways. In her story, Olga visited this area for the first time but she also got mesmerized by one of the longest gardens in Warsaw. In the near future, I am sure she'll create a Boernerowo inspired painting.

We talked to Olga about the key to designing her minimalist collages as well as artworks of human-shaped landscapes.
"My name is Olga Szczechowska, and I'm living in Warsaw. Since the age of a child, I've always been painting and drawing often. I was a student at an art high school and was a student of Painting and Cultural Studies at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun.

I'm a designer, artist, and illustrator occasionally a graphic designer. In my practice, I concentrate on the connection between humankind and nature by closely observing how we shape the environment in our backyards. By looking at trimmed hedges, decorative plants, and well-designed home gardens I'm trying to capture the strange environment that surrounds us."

"For some time, I've created minimalist collages. The collages are in the form of landscapes and still life, or are developed as a result from explorations with textures, shapes, and colours.

My work is diverse since collage and painting are quite different. However, they do have something in common: they soothe. I have heard this term repeatedly from my viewers and think best describes the essence of my work. When I'm tired of painting, I create collages, and vice versa. A certain style can be a brief escape from the different.

I believe that being aware is essential. I pay attention to everything that surrounds me, architectural structures, nature, as well as objects. The result is my artwork. My artworks do not see a human , however, we get the feeling of human beings in hedges that have been cut or in a cup left in the kitchen table."
