Art collages are available on the CreativeMindClass Blog
On Sunday afternoon I accidentally caught Olga posting Instagram stories of my childhood neighborhood. Within Warsaw's urban jungle is a less-known and sacred green area. I would visit it in the summer to stare at gorgeous old pines and take a breath of nature in my urban airways. In her story, Olga visited this area for the first time but she was also fascinated by one of the longest backyards in Warsaw. It is my bet she will create an inspired Boernerowo painting.

We talked to Olga about her process for making her minimal collages and painting of landscapes that are human-shaped.
"My name is Olga Szczechowska, and I'm living in Warsaw. Since I was a little kid, I've been drawing and painting plenty. I went to an art high school and was a student of Painting and Cultural Studies at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun.

I'm a painter, illustrator as well as graphic designer. My work is a examine the interplay between nature and humans, paying close attention to how we influence the natural world around us. By looking at trimmed hedges or decorative plants as well as well-designed home gardens I'm trying to capture the mysterious beauty of the surroundings around us."

"For several years I have also been creating simple collages. These collages were drawn from landscapes, still lifeor developed as a result from experiments with shapes, textures, and colours.

My work is diverse because painting and collages are very different, but they have one thing that they share: they relax. I've heard this phrase from my audience many times and believe that is the best description of my art. When I'm bored of painting, I create collages. The reverse is also true. The one style serves as an way to escape the other.

I think observation is key. I carefully observe everything that surrounds me, architectural structures, nature, as well as objects. This is evident in my work. Through my work, you do not see a human being, but we get the feeling of human beings in hedges that have been cut or in a mug left on the table."
