A watercolor teacher - The CreativeMindClass Blog
"You'll often hear me chant variations of this phrase as I teach: we go from big to small -meaning bigger brush to small brush, tight to loose and dark to light. It's key to begin with excitement and joy and a loose strategy but allowing the piece to speak directly to you in the direction it would like you to go."
Painting tips for watercolors:
- From big to smaller brush
- Move from loose to tight moves
- Change from lighter to darker colors

My story
"I was the quiet kid in the middle of the class, drawing in her sketchbook. Not much has changed since. There was a time when I felt a creative burnout, but becoming a mom called me back to watercolor painting. I found myself back in the art world by combining art with my religious practice. I created "Watercolor Devo's." They inspired me to begin working as a creative teacher and a full time artist."

How would you describe your style of watercolor?
"I am unable to resist the fun, bold or pink. The vintage vibe or tension visuals are often my goal when I'm drawing. Most importantly I enjoy bringing the very best in watercolor onto the canvas, with vibrant bleeding and bold shades."
